Erin Moon-Walker, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Erin Moon-Walker

Erin Moon-Walker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides individual therapy for adults (22+). She is interested in helping people like themselves more, figure out relationships, and savor the good stuff about living.

As a fully trained EMDRIA-approved Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, Erin assesses all of her clients for dysfunctionally stored memories, which stem from previous stressful experiences and continue to activate our nervous systems today. [for more information on EMDR, see video below].

Additionally, Erin uses a psychodynamic approach with components of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and applies polyvagal theory, which focuses on how our nervous systems and sense of safety influence our relationships and behavior.

Erin knows life gets tough and believes everyone is doing the best they can. She is a professional who prides herself on being an honest and real person, which helps clients feel they can be honest and real with her, as well. Erin wants her clients to feel heard and respected, so she appreciates both positive and negative feedback and strives to help clients feel comfortable.

Erin is currently working toward certification in EMDR and is training in neurodivergent-affirming approaches to psychotherapy and EMDR.

Erin is married with two children, and likes to spend her free time talking and walking through the woods with her friends, learning about the brain, laughing and cracking jokes, snuggling her family, and enjoying all things Grateful Dead.

Erin is in-network with Anthem/BCBS, Purdue UHCSR, and Aetna insurances.
