Steffani Kizziar, M.A. is currently a third year PsyD student at the University of Indianapolis.  She provides individual therapy and psychological assessment to children, adolescents, and adults.  Steffani is stimulated by the diversity of private practice and has a special interest in serving individuals with a history of trauma.

Steffani identifies as an interpersonal/psychodynamic practitioner rooted in attachment theory, meaning that she believes symptoms are often an expression of unmet developmental needs and/or the aftermath of trauma.  For Steffani, therapy is about being seen and accepted for all of who you are. Therapy is the effort to give language to what is real and truthful in the trust that it can be heard, held, and made sense of by another person.

Steffani has a warm, collaborative, and open manner that helps put people at ease.  She holds a deep faith in the process of therapy and is privileged to do the work she does.

In her free time, Steffani enjoys hiking, hanging out with her family and pup, Netflix, and murder mysteries.

Steffani is supervised by Dr. Beckwith for therapy and by Dr. McKinney for psychological testing/assessment.
