Allyson Thomas is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her main areas of specialty include adults struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD and mood disorders.

 

Allyson believes that while the real work is done in therapy, sometimes medications can help manage symptoms while continuing to work with a therapist.

 

If you or your therapist feels you could benefit from medication management as well as therapy, they can refer you for a psychiatry evaluation. In your appointment you will discuss which symptoms you are currently struggling with and if there is a medication that could be beneficial.

In her free time, Allyson enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their dog. She enjoys reading, gardening, playing violin and watching Star Wars.
