Telehealth Psychologist

Dr. Angela Marotta is a Licensed Counseling Psychologist who provides individual therapy to adults ages 18+. She also has many years of experience working with undergraduate, graduate, and professional students in university counseling centers. Her areas of special interest include anxiety, relational concerns, perfectionism, identity development, body image and eating concerns, trauma, women’s issues, and working with those in the helping professions.

Dr. Marotta uses an integrative approach in her work, primarily drawing from emotion-focused and interpersonal process perspectives. She places value on helping clients develop compassion for themselves and build new tools for identifying and responding to their needs. She also seeks to understand how all of the identities clients hold impact how they experience the world and what they need from therapy. Dr. Marotta strives to create a therapy environment that is warm, compassionate, supportive, and collaborative. She understands that growth can be challenging and seeks to compliment this with moments of levity and laughter. Dr. Marotta hopes clients leave therapy understanding themselves more fully, with newfound abilities to flexibly and compassionately respond to their emotional and interpersonal experiences.

In her free time, Dr. Marotta enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading, puzzling, being in nature, listening to live music, and watching reality TV.

Angela is in-network with Anthem/BCBS and Purdue UHCSR.
