
Diana Mathis, MSEd (she/her)
Doctoral-Level Practicum Trainee
Diana Mathis is a fourth-year doctoral student in Purdue’s Counseling Psychology program with experience working with teenagers and adults. She provides individual therapy for ages 18+ and psychological testing for ages 16+.
In addition to psychological assessments, Diana’s primary areas of clinical interest are identity development including gender/sexuality, interpersonal relationship dynamics including couples/families, self-esteem, disordered eating, career/academic concerns, and grief.
Diana values collaborative working relationships with clients to foster growth in a power-neutral, supportive therapeutic space. Diana provides therapy using an integrative approach, including ACT, DBT, and IPT interventions conceptualized, through a feminist lens. Through client-driven goal-setting, Diana aims to help clients identify and take steps toward a values-based lifestyle.
In her free time, Diana enjoys kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, traveling, reading, trivia night, and time with her friends and family.
Diana is supervised by licensed clinical psychologists.
