Katherine Bolsen, PhD, HSPP (she/her)

Psychologist

Dr. Katherine Bolsen is a Licensed Counseling Psychologist who provides individual, couples, career, or play therapy for individuals 6+.

Dr. Bolsen’s approach to therapy is integrative with unifying themes of empathy, humor, mindfulness, value identification, goal setting, and meaning-making. She practices mainly using an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) perspective grounded in multicultural competency. Additionally, she incorporates aspects of existential, person-centered, and narrative therapies. Dr. Bolsen enjoys working with diverse populations, striving to work alongside her clients to determine an approach that best fits their needs, values, goals and personal style.

 

Dr. Bolsen’s professional interests include, but are not limited to: relationships, complex family dynamics, OCD, anxiety, depression, grief, spirituality, forgiveness, social justice, workplace satisfaction, motherhood, self-esteem, and perfectionism.

In her free time, Dr. Bolsen enjoys running, yoga, reading, journaling, traveling, trying exotic ice cream flavors, and spending time with friends and puppies. 

Katherine is in-network with Anthem/BCBS and Purdue UHCSR.
