Dr. Rena Noel is a Clinical psychologist who has experience working with adults and older adolescents in both individual therapy and psychological assessments. They work with a variety of concerns such as anxiety, struggles with neurodivergence (social and functional), identity exploration (gender, sexuality, race/ethnicity, life values), trauma, body/shape concerns, and grief.
Dr. Noel's treatment approach in individual therapy focuses on assisting clients exploring meaning and value, along with helping build tools around coping and navigating various life challenges. They enjoy finding client's strengths and interests, and weaving them into the therapeutic work. Dr. Noel practices from a compassionate and collaborative approach, while helping clients acknowledge their strengths. Additionally, Dr. Noel encourages clients to become aware of all pieces of identity that can influence meaning and beliefs about the self and world. They especially enjoy helping clients get to the "A-ha" moment of understanding themselves.
In their free time, Dr. Noel enjoys playing many types of games such as: video games, board games, card games (such as Magic), and tabletop roleplaying games. They also enjoy baking, spending time with their husband, and reading graphic novels.
Dr. Noel is supervised by licensed clinical psychologists as they accrue hours toward their independent licensure.
